Isolated thunderstorms are possible across portions of the Hill Country and western Val Verde county tonight. Otherwise, look for partly to mostly cloudy skies with warm overnight lows in the 70s.

Partly cloudy skies will prevail for the next several days. There is a slight chance for storms today and Monday evening, otherwise rain is not expected. The heat will increase by mid week leading to possible heat advisories across portions of the region.

8:24 AM A few showers and thunderstorms will move into southern Val Verde county, including Del Rio, and Lake Amistad. Expect brief moderate rainfall and occasional lightning strikes as this activity moves to the northeast around 25 mph.

8:49 AM Penny sized hail may accompany the thunderstorm currently moving through the Del Rio and Lake View areas. This storm is moving to the northeast around 20 mph.

Tonight: Isolated strong to severe storms are expected to move into South Central Texas from the west late this evening. Large hail, damaging winds, and locally heavy rainfall amounts over 1 inch are possible.

8:10 AM Scattered showers and thunderstorms continue to move southward through the coastal plains this morning. Expect some brief moderate rainfall and occasional lightning strikes with the stronger storms. A few spots could receive around 1” of rainfall with slow moving storms.
