During this period, Amofah uploaded pornography to the EWNetwork channel, resulting in its termination; he then posted statements on social media alluding to suicide. After issuing an apology, Amofah created another channel, "EtikaFRFX", which was terminated for identical reasons.

When YouTuber Etika was found dead on 25 June 2019 it shocked thousands of fans and fellow video bloggers. Etika, real name Desmond Amofah, 29, built a following of 130,000 YouTube subscribers by reacting to releases and products from gaming company Nintendo.

Etika's suicide has sent shockwaves through the gaming and YouTube community, but it's unlikely that any number of signatures will get him buried at the YouTube Headquarters. His account getting restored is more realistic, but YouTube has yet to respond to any of the petitions.
