Here is the shelf cloud approaching our office associated with a line of showers and thunderstorms pushing eastward across the area. Wind gusts between 30-45 mph have been observed with this line.

More active weather is expected across the south-central U.S. through late week, with additional rounds of thunderstorms, heavy rain, severe weather, and flash flooding possible.

1:10PM-Showers & t-storms continue to increase in coverage as we head into the afternoon (through 6pm). Activity is scattered around the Baltimore/Washington DC metros with an organized line pushing east of I-81. Threats include gusts up to 50 mph, small hail, & heavy rainfall.
