Stay weather aware today. While the Moderate risk is up in Kansas, an Enhanced risk for severe storms exists in northwestern OK. Very large hail (2+") and damaging winds (75+mph) are the main threats. An isolated tornado risk is also possible.

Here we go again...storm chances return this week with a threat of severe weather. On Tuesday, a cap will likely limit storm development with storms more likely Wednesday/Thursday. Flooding concerns may arise again as well. We'll keep you posted! #wfaaweather

We are dry this weekend and early next week, but a few chances for thunderstorms return midweek. At this time, a few strong to severe storms appear possible, but the overall threat should remain low here in North Texas. #wfaaweather

High pressure remains in control a little while longer, keeping plenty of heat and humidity in place. By the middle of next week, the ridge shifts southward allowing several disturbances to head our way. Best rain chances expected by Thursday.

Another day of the 90s and elevated humidity is ahead. The heat index will be in the mid-upper 90s this afternoon, but a SE breeze will help the warm air not feel AS rough. Changes arrive midweek with a series of disturbances and the arrival of a weak cold front. Enjoy the sun!

No rainfall over the next several days will allow river flooding to begin to recede starting in upstream basins. The lower end of the basins will be slow to improve as flood waves move downstream. #txflood

A hot and dry weekend is on tap as we climb back to 90. The humidity starts to increase tomorrow, too yielding heat index values close to the triple digit mark. The pattern looks to change midweek as shower/storm chances return to the forecast.
