1:45 PM: Dry line has returned just west of I-35W and will slowly head east...DFW temps are near 90 and the Heat Index near 100. After 4-5pm and early eve hours SOME severe storms will pop. Where they develop they will blow quickly. Initial storms may run up US-75 north of Dallas

Another round of scattered storms is expected Thursday afternoon along a cold front pushing through North and Central TX. The greatest potential for large hail and damaging wind gusts will reside along/south of the I-20 corridor. Many north of I-20 will likely remain dry. #txwx

4:30 PM: Only storms are down by Waco so far but others will pop fairly soon. Better chance we see some up US-75 north of Dallas...and extended down south. As we get past 7pm or so, others may fill in from Dallas east...through about 11pm (east). Areas west are drier...safer.
