Some fog this AM,but clouds should start to scatter for partly sunny skies. Highs climb into the upper 80s; heat index values in the mid-90s! A few storms are in the forecast today and again overnight tonight. Storms that pop today could produce quarter sized hail/gusty winds.

A few more showers/storms are back in the forecast today. This afternoon, a few storms could pop and could produce hail up to the size of quarters and gusty winds. It looks as if a complex of storms will approach tonight, too with strong winds as the main threat.

2 rounds of storm chances: 1) today and 2) tonight. Today's storm chances will be scattered storms this afternoon into evening. Not everyone will see storms, but if you are underneath one you'll see at least heavy rain and lightning. Some hail and strong winds possible too.

2nd round of storm chances late tonight: A complex of storms moves from West TX into North TX. Exact path of those storms is a little uncertain, but most of the area has a shot at storms after midnight. Some gusty winds possible, but winds likely we saw Tuesday AM are unlikely.

Although shower/storm coverage today is only 30-40%, the storms that do pop could produce winds between 50-60 mph and quarter-sized hail. Keep the radar handy if you have outdoor, afternoon plans!

3pm: Storm Complex (yes, again) with flooding rain is now headed east of Dallas (Canton). Strongest with a hail core (quarter) SE of Dallas headed SE to Cedar Creek area. Still an isolated storm on the north side. Otherwise expect a drier late day-evening.

Half dollar hail and 60 mph winds remain possible with this severe storm.
